Color matched solid surface worktop adhesive for jointing, edging and sealing

ColorSeam, the solid surface worktop adhesive and sealant, is available in three sizes – 50ml, 100ml and 250ml, meeting the demands of the DIY, trade and in house fabrication markets.

The dual component cartridges accurately mix and dispense the pre coloured adhesive, providing consistent results and minimal waste.

Each size comes with the appropriate mixing nozzle and further nozzles are available if required.

Unika’s brand new filling line incorporates the latest technology meaning accurate fill, no air bubbles and consistent colour and performance.

Characteristics

Smooth Cure Technology
No air bubbles, manufactured under vacuum in all stages.

Cure Speed (at 20°c):
Working time 10 – 12 mins
Sandable in under 30 mins.
Working time and cure time will be shortened at higher temperatures and extended at lower temperatures.

Sandability:
Can be easily sanded with standard discs.

Colour Quality:
Wide colour matching capability.
Production material has DE<1.0 from approved colour.

UV:
Good UV resistance

Strength:
Butt joint strength, 3 point bend test – see table.
Solid Surface: 10N/mm2, leading to substrate failure
Composite: 1.5N/mm2, with substrate failure of the solid surface layer.

No Sag:
Minimal sag of a vertical bead, eliminating drips:
